It’s been pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins this week at South Canoe as students busily prepared for our annual pumpkin walk. Mrs. Danyluk’s class had a great time with their giant pumpkin in the classroom to inspire stories and fun. Everyone got a turn to sit on it while Mrs. Danyluk read books. Once it had been opened (with a power tool), students examined it, talked about it, and then even got to have their pictures taken sitting inside it. Even Ms. Major got in on the action – but she didn’t quite fit! On Tuesday, the school community was invited to join our annual pumpkin walk. There were so many awesome pumpkins and creative carving ideas. What a fun event!
